Well I think I decided to use this spot for my usual blogging and the msn one for the odd comments I have and such.
Eventhough it's been a little more than a week since my last entry my hair has started poking me in the eyes. I'll just have to live with it for another week or two...it's not showing any signs of slowing down thankfully at this point. My spending spree is slowing down but only temporarily. Got my eye on a 23" samsung LCD TV that'd be perfect for my bedroom wall. :D
Overall this weekend I don't think I've ever felt so trapped in this house. My car isn't drivable for the time being due to the signal light system completely failing on me. Well...I shouldn't say completely undrivable, I just don't want to look like an idiot using hand signals going places. But yea...knowing that my car needs fixing actually had me depressed all this weekend.
Got a call from Dr. Frasier Linklater from the UofM's school of music. He seems to be really excited to be able have me in a band he's conducting. Crazy guy. Not sure how much longer I can stay in this group though. The age gap between me and the rest of the band just keeps getting wider and me more uncomfortable because of it. Last year the oboeist was 16! 17 tops! *sigh* We'll see how it goes this year. Speaking of the UofM last thursday I got a parking violation while at a rehearsal. The reason was listed as: "Parking lot closed: Permit required." I looked up the parking regulations and saw that after 4:30 or weekends the only reason I need a parking pass is if the lot was a 24 hr reserved lot or restricted in some other way. I certainly didn't see any signs stating the lot was closed off (you'd think they would have set up barracades). And I've parked there before at the same times with no problems. A typical UofM money grab. Either way I'm not paying it. It'll only affect me if I go to school there again, of which, the chances are minimal. I'll use almost any excuse to escape this wretched place.
